She’s the stylish queen of the red carpet and star of independent movies like Lost in Translation.
So Scarlett Johansson is not necessarily the type of person you’d associate with a sportswear brand.
But yesterday the 21-year-old actress announced she has signed a multi-million-pound deal to be the new face of Reebok.
She will design her own retroinspired sportswear range, titled Scarlett Hearts Rbk. The footwear and clothing line will be available from spring next year and Johansson will model the collection in a global ad campaign.
She said: ‘I am very enthusiastic about working with Reebok to design this line.’
The range promises ‘sophisticated detailing and unexpected twists’ and is designed ‘to take today’s multidimensional woman from the studio to the street in style’.
