Scarlett Johansson lived up to her name last night when she revealed a dramatic new hair colour.
With her hair tinted red and her trademark lipstick dazzling the crowds, the 21-year-old drew admiring looks from fans at the London premiere of The Prestige.
The mysterious Victorian-era thriller – directed by Christopher Nolan – sees Scarlett play a beautiful magician’s assistant.
Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale star as two rival illusionists trying desperately to keep their trade secrets from each other.
“I’ve never done a character like this, I don’t think, and I’ve never been in a film like this, so it was very different,” Hugh said last night.
And the hunky X Men star had only good things to say about his co-star Scarlett.
“She’s an incredibly good actress, brilliant, and as you can tell a beautiful woman…” he said.
“She’s gonna be one of the greats that people will remember for a long time. So having done two films in 12 months with her, my agent’s in for a hefty bonus!”
The glittering premiere attracted a bevy of celebrities, many of whom dared to brave the cold of Leicester Square in skimpy outfits.
Rachel Hunter looked stunning in a short figure-hugging dress and actress Rebecca Hall donned a short grey dress to wow the crowds.
Actor Michael Caine, racing driver Jenson Button and Irina Abramovich, wife of Chelsea boss Roman, also turned up for the screening.
