Britney’s checked out of rehab, so now it’s another celebrity’s turn to take her place – step forward Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
Back-to-back filming has taken its toll on the star’s well-being so he’s entered a rehab facility to recover, according to People.com.
His rep, Meredith O’Sullivan, told the website: “After a non-stop succession of filming, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program. He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery.”
The 29-year-old has been working flat out for the last couple of years. As well as appearing alongside Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s Match Point last year, he recently finished filming the drama August Rush with Terrence Howard and Robin Williams, and is playing Henry VIII in TV series The Tudors.
His rep added: “Jonathan plans to resume his schedule following completion.”
Let’s the star is back to his best again soon.
