A Briton has paid £20,000 for a 20-minute date with Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson in support of Oxfam, the charity said.
The fan won a charity auction on eBay to be the 23-year-old actress’s guest at the world premiere of her new film, He’s Just Not That Into You, in July.
The mystery UK-based bidder, who has not been identified but goes by the nickname “bossnour”, paid 40,100 dollars for the privilege.
They will have their hair and make-up done, be chauffeured to the premiere with a guest – and meet the star of Lost In Translation and The Other Boleyn Girl.
A spokesman for Oxfam said: “This was a brilliant idea and has proved incredibly popular. To get £20,000 for a 20-minute date and a pair of tickets to help us fight poverty is fantastic.
“All of this money will be used to help us fight poverty in countries all over the world.”
