Scarlett Johansson’s new album Anywhere I Lay My Head, is apparently reflective of her “low-key” lifestyle.
“My album is more suited to my lifestyle,” she told the upcoming May issue of Spin magazine. “I live a very low-key life.”
The actress also commented on how she sees herself in relation to other stars who have both acted and sung.
“I have no relationship with either Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton, even as far as my lifestyle or the music I listen to,” she said. “They probably made music that fits with their lifestyle – ‘Wouldn’t it be great if I were dancing to my own song in the club?'”
Scarlett’s entire album is devoted to Tom Waits covers and is due out on May 20. Her new record has already won over Jessica Simpson who has given it a rave review.
“I really respect her, and I think she’s an unbelievable talent at a young age,” Jessica told Esquire magazine. “And she is unbelievably beautiful. Plus, she gets to work with the best of the best.”
