Miley Cyrus, Scarlett Johansson and Lindsay Lohan are some of the stars confirmed to present at MTV Video Music Awards.
They will be joined by Olympic record-breaker Michael Phelps, Ciara, and the casts of High School Musical 3 and Twilight.
To celebrate the ceremony’s 25th anniversary, The Ting Tings, Katy Perry, T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco and additional special guests will perform new and past hits over the past 25 years.
Rihanna, P!nk, TI, Kid Rock, Paramore, Lil Wayne and the Jonas Brothers have already been added to the list of powerhouse performers at this year’s Los Angeles ceremony, which is hosted by Russell Brand on September 7.
The Ting Tings are up for Best New Artist, while Coldplay’s Violet Hill video has snagged a nod for Best Special Effect. Adele has also received a nomination for Best Choreography for Chasing Pavements.
MTV’s 25th annual Video Music Awards will premiere on MTV ONE at 9pm on September 8.
