The duo have collaborated with the Lost In Translation star on a cover version of the George Gershwin classic Summertime, which is the main song in Dias de Gracia (Days Of Grace).

The thriller, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this month, has three separate storylines which take place during three World Cups, in 2002, 2006 and 2010.

Each of the segments features a soundtrack by a different composer, as well as several different versions of Summertime including the one featuring Johansson’s vocals.

It is not the first time that Johansson – who does not star in the film – has been heard demonstrating her vocal abilities.

The 26-year-old released Wherever I Lay My Head, an album of Tom Waits covers, in 2008, and the following year Break Up – an album she had recorded in 2006 – was released.

Film-wise, the actress was seen most recently in the 2010 summer blockbuster Iron Man 2, and stars later this year in the new Cameron Crowe film We Bought A Zoo.

Matt Damon also stars in the comedy drama about a family who try to turn around the fortunes of a struggling animal park.

She will also appear as the Black Widow in the 2012 comic book blockbuster The Avengers.

Massive Attack – who remain best known for hits including Unfinished Sympathy and Safe From Harm – released their fifth album Heligoland in 2010.
