Scarlett Johansson has revealed her latest musical venture – a duet with
Serge Gainsbourg’s son
Lulu on a cover version of the 60s hit Bonnie and Clyde.
The Lost In Translation star teams up with the French singer on the track as part of an album he is producing as a tribute to his father Serge.
And the video sees Johansson looking glamorous in a strapless blue dress, pouting at the camera and clutching bottles of champagne.
She is also heard speaking and singing lines from the song, which was originally recorded in 1968 by Serge Gainsbourg and actress Brigitte Bardot .
Bonnie and Clyde, which is said to be based on a poem by infamous outlaw Bonnie Parker, has been covered in the past by Kylie Minogue – who featured a sample of the song on her 2007 track Sensitized – and Belinda Carlisle.
The duet comes hot on the heels of Johansson’s collaboration with Massive Attack earlier this summer.
She teamed up with the duo for a cover of the song Summertime, which featured in the Mexican movie Days Of Grace.
Johansson also released her debut album Anywhere I Lay My Head – consisting mostly of covers of Tom Waits songs – in 2008.
The actress is currently filming comic book blockbuster The Avengers, which is due for release next summer.
