Scarlett Johansson has attacked the hackers who allegedly took a set of nude pictures from her mobile phone and leaked them online.
The Lost In Translation star, 26, called the invasion of privacy ‘unjust’ after naked photos of her in the shower and bedroom flooded the internet a fortnight ago.
‘Just because you’re in the spotlight, or just because you’re an actor, doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to your own personal privacy,’ the star said.
‘No matter what the context, if that is sieged in some way it feels unjust, it feels wrong.’
On dealing with invasion of privacy, she added to CNN: ‘To me, it’s an adjustment. There are certain instances I think where you give a lot of yourself, finally you just kind of have to put your foot down and say, “No wait, I’m taking it back”.’
Johansson’s lawyers had called in the FBI to hunt the culprits, after pictures apparently showing the actress posing naked appeared on websites across the US.
