Scarlett Johansson has only had a ring on her finger for a few seconds but already she’s planning her ‘dream wedding’ in Paris.
The 28-year-old actress confirmed she is engaged to boyfriend of nine-months, Romain Dauriac, as she showed off a large rock on her left hand on Wednesday while promoting new film Under The Skin at the Venice Film Festival.
The French former journalist, 31, currently lives along the River Seine in the upmarket St Germain des Pres district and the pair have been spending so much of their time there, Scarlett wants to marry in Paris.
‘Scarlett has fallen in love with the place and wants to marry here,’ said a neighbour of the loved-up couple.

Apparently the Avengers star has really been getting into the swing of the Parisian life and has been spotted whizzing around the city on a scooter.
‘They live just like Parisians already – they will be so happy here,’ the source added to the Evening Standard.
Scarlett’s spokesperson confirmed the happy news on Thursday.
‘I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged,’ her publicist told Harper’s Bazaar UK, adding: ‘They haven’t chosen a date for the wedding.’
And according to People magazine, the couple are ‘very happy’ after Dauriac – who is a French journalist – popped the question to the stunning Hollywood actress in August.
Scarlett and Romain began dating in November last year after mutual friends introduced them.
She was previously married to Ryan Reynolds but they split after two years in 2010. Ryan is now married to Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively.
