Makeup contouring was one of the hottest beauty trends of 2014 thanks to Kim Kardashian and ‘that’ selfie.
Giving a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘putting on warpaint’, makeup contouring is a way of blending foundation and bronzer to highlight cheekbones, cover flaws, and generally sculpt yourself a flawless new face (if done correctly).
But it turns out it’s not only your face that you can contour. Hair contouring is apparently now a thing too.
The trend is being pioneered by the Charles Worthington hair salon in London.
The new service includes a face shape analysis and bespoke colour prescription, devised with the intention of contouring your face shape, to flatter facial features and create a more healthy complexion.
Sounds complicated doesn’t it?
