Scarlett Johansson recently admitted that she would love to do a Black Widow spin-off film but Marvel have yet to commit.
But the actress delivered a taster of what Avengers fans could expect with a hilarious parody on Saturday Night Live which pokes fun at sexism.
Acting as host for the fourth time on the show, Scarlett put her leather catsuit back on for the skit, which transformed the Black Widow film into a romantic comedy.
The sketch started off with a voiceover saying: ‘Does Marvel not know how to make a girl superhero movie?’
He then adds: ‘Chill – Marvel gets women.’
The spoof shows that they clearly don’t as it’s turned into a bad romcom instead with Black Widow landing a job at Fashion Weekly before falling for bad guy Ultron even though she tells him: ‘I don’t really have any time to date guys now.’
Things start to go wrong when he throws a bus at her office leaving Black Widow in tears.
The spoof Black Widow: Age of Me trailer ends with her falling for The Incredible Hulk after dumping Ultron.
Somehow, we don’t think this is the Black Widow movie everyone wants to see.
