Robert Downey Jr accidentally knocked out co-star
Scarlett Johansson while in costume on the set of The Avengers.
The actor was waiting to film scenes with his glamorous co-star in their new movie and was fiddling with the hi-tech gadgets attached to his outfit.
Downey Jr, 46, hit the âwrongâ button, which controls one of the arms and hit Scarlett â who plays Black Widow in the movie â in the face.
A source said: âIt suddenly jerked backward and whacked poor Scarlett.
‘Knocked silly, she staggered backward, then lost her balance and fell off the low platform they were standing on.â
Stunned crew rushed to help the 26-year-old get to her feet and, luckily, she was unharmed.
The source told National Enquirer magazine: âRobert, who couldnât help because he literally canât move in that iron suit, was beside himself â he kept apologising.
‘Scarlett smiled about the incident.â
